Morning – Lecture/Demo:

Cotton Chic

The secret to making chic clothes - from quilting cotton! Quilting cottons provide us with a virtually unlimited array of gorgeous prints - but too often they fail to translate well into clothing. Learn how to interpret cotton broadcloth prints into chic, FLATTERING garments that have unmistakable style.

I Must…I Must…I Must Increase My Bust (and other fitting challenges…)

The number one obstacle to sewing garments? It’s not sewing – it’s FIT. No matter your size and shape, we all must learn to fit ourselves. In this entertaining – and enlightening! – presentation Palmer/Pletsch Certified Fit Instructor Katrina Walker will shed new light on this very old challenge. These pattern alteration methods WORK – and they have been refined over 40+ years of Palmer/Pletsch fit classes conducted on real bodies around the world.

*Optional detailed handout $10 - please see sign up under ASG Members section.
